Literally doing nothing. Accomplishing nothing today. I know I did a few things, but it’s never enough. Would we be doing more or less in our daily life, if we weren’t able to spend all day 24/7/365 watching others live their lives’? It’s not just the time we waste in that moment that we’ll never get back, but it’s the space we’re letting these insignificant posts take up in our mind. They’re things that really don’t matter to us, hold no meaning, except it offers a false feeling of belonging. You’d be lying if you say you’ve never been out in a public space say a restaurant or your kid’s school, making eye contact with one of your many “friends” of Facebook and one or both of you look away fast! Trying to avoid talking to them because it would be awkward when you have nothing of substance to say to each other BUT you’ve liked and loved each other’s posts for years! Ugh the horror 😱 😉
